OUR MISSION

To provide exceptional therapy to optimise hand function after a hand & upper limb injury.

Sue Doman

Over the years Sue has worked in both the private & public sector delivering hand & upper limb therapy.  She has held various positions in the AHTA including National conference committee member / Victorian State Representative and Victorian State Mentor. 

Sue has a passion for teaching and has lectured at local, state and national conferences.

Sue works with leading Hand Surgeons, Specialists and General Medical Practitioners 

Upper limb injuries that Sue treats include but are not limited to:   Sporting injuries / trauma / chronic hand injuries and conditions.

Sue specialises in the treatment of Tendon injuries / amputations / replants / Mallet finger injuries

Wrist and hand fractures dislocations and ligament injuries / Osteoarthritis of the wrist, hand and thumb / Carpal tunnel syndrome / Trigger finger / Dequervains tenosynovitis / Crush injuries / Tennis & Golfers’ elbow.

My Approach

Sue pursues excellence in the delivery of hand and upper limb rehabilitation.  With over 35 years working in Upper Limb therapy, Sue uses evidence based and best practice to achieve the optimal outcomes. 

Sue's passion is staying abreast of research and attends regular conferences and delivers education to colleagues.

 

Sue is a highly respected hand therapist who works in both the public and private sectors. Sue has recently been a committee member of the national Australian Hand Therapy Association and delivered the Annual national conference in Adelaide in 2023. 

Sue is a friendly, approachable, motivating therapist who makes patients feel at ease in therapy sessions. Sue recognises that in order to achieve the best outcomes, collaboration and trust needs to be developed with patients .

 

Sue works very closely with Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgeons and GPs to ensure optimal care is provided.  

Sue enjoys working with trauma, sport injuries and chronic conditions and post op surgical conditions
